What is Modus-O?
Modus-O is a Field Service Management application. It allows you to manage clients, assets, techs, procedures, work orders, and track and record results. The Modus-O Management console allows you to manage a clients assets, the procedures that you run on those assets, create work orders for the assets and dispatch them to techs on the field. Your techs will receive the work orders on their mobile device (iPad/iPhone). They will be able to run though procedures and record all of the data. They will be able to see a list of equipment they need to run the procedures, view a map of the client site, accept client signatures, record any materials used, close the work order, and view the report that can then be emailed to the client.
What mobile devices does Modus-O support?
Currently the Apple iPad and iPhone are supported for “in the field” work orders. Additional devices including Android are in development.

 

 

All back office administration can be handled on any PC or Mac.

Can Modus-O interface with my accounting system?
Modus-O is built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform for which there are many commercially available options for integrating accounting data with your CRM data.

 

 

Users of Microsoft Dynamics packages such as Dynamics GP or Dynamics AX can achieve integration through a Microsoft tool specifically created for this purpose. If your organization uses a Microsoft ERP system, you can contact your Microsoft Business Solutions partner to get more information.

Other packages such as Quickbooks, Peachtree, SAP, and many others are supported by third-party tools such as Scribe Insight from Scribe Software.

How long will it take to get my company setup to start using Modus-O
We can provision your organization, setup user accounts and security roles, and have you up and running within a matter of hours. Generally, we will have you ready to start on the same business day that you provide your organization information.
What if I decide to stop using Modus-O? What happens to my data?
Every Modus-O customer has their own unique Microsoft SQL Server database. For a nominal fee our consulting services team can arrange to provide you with an export of your database.
What browsers does Modus-O support?
Modus-O supports most browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Mozilla, Opera, etc.
I am currently using another product to manage assets and service. Can I migrate my data to Modus-O?
Yes. We have experience migrating data from many systems including Fluke Met-Cal. Our consulting services team can work with you to make the transition as smooth as possible. Contact us with any specific questions about your migration situation.
